Roblox Banned My $30K Dev Account Over a Public Shirt Template Then Lied About Their Own Policy

01:17 01/04/2026

EDIT:UPDATE: Account has been reinstated and roblox gave up under the pressure i put on them.

lets rise up against roblox's idiotic appeal and mod team and win this War we all suffer From!!!!

Post:

I’ve been a Roblox developer for years. I built games, spent over $30,000 USD on development assets, ads, and avatar items, and created content that brought real value to the platform.

But Roblox deleted everything — my entire account — because of a DMCA claim over a Spider-Man shirt I got from a public internet template. Yes, the kind you can find with a 5-second Google search.

After weeks of back and forth, the person who reported the shirt retracted the DMCA claim. Roblox confirmed the retraction. They said this in writing:

So you’d think that would mean my account gets restored, right?

Nope. They reinstated the shirt, then claimed my account was still banned for some other asset — which they never warned me about, never gave me a strike for, and never notified me of in any moderation message.

Their own policy says you get three strikes. One of those was retracted. The others? Vague at best, or never delivered.

And yet my account is “no longer eligible to be reopened.”

They contradicted themselves in writing. They ignored their own process. They wiped years of work with zero accountability.

Meanwhile, the person who made the report? Still online. Still selling Marvel shirts.

This is how Roblox treats developers who pour money and creativity into their platform. Cold, dishonest, and automated.
